ESPID Small Grant Award

About this program

The European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) offers Small Grant Awards of up to €10,000 to support pump-priming research that generates pilot data for future external funding, including laboratory consumables and limited administrative, technical, or IT support. Applicants must be good-standing ESPID members who meet Young ESPID Membership criteria by the 31 October 2026 deadline; previous ESPID Small Grant recipients, current CSAA or ESPID Board members, and applications for projects already supported by another ESPID award are ineligible. Proposals must be directly relevant to paediatric infectious diseases, demonstrate the applicant’s primary research role, and include the required application form, budget, supervisor/manager support letter, CV, and declaration.
