ESPID Systematic Review Grant

About this program

The European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) offers two Systematic Review Grants of up to €6,000 each to support members in conducting systematic reviews that can generate data for further external funding; awards may cover administrative, technical or IT support and are paid in two instalments to the host institution (50% on award, 50% on proof of publication), with a final report required and ESPID acknowledgement mandated in resulting publications. Applicants must be ESPID members in good standing and submit their application and supporting documents in English, including a CV and a scanned degree certificate showing the date of award; the applicant must be within 16 years of their medical qualification or highest degree (adjusted for career breaks) and the work must be completed in the same year as the application. Applications must follow ESPID formatting rules, only one ESPID award will be funded per project, and eligibility and completeness will be checked before judging.
