E.T. Bryant Memorial Prize — prize for significant contribution to literature in music information fields

About this program

IAML (UK & Irl) together with The Music Libraries Trust awards the E.T. Bryant Memorial Prize, a £300 award presented at the IAML (UK & Irl) AGM for a significant contribution to the literature in music information—particularly for library, museum, archive and records management professions. Submissions are judged by representatives of IAML (UK & Irl) and The Music Libraries Trust, and a copy of the winning work is retained in the IAML (UK & Irl) Archive. Eligible entrants are current library and information science students (or student groups) and those who graduated within the past calendar year, postgraduate researchers enrolled or awarded their PhD within the past calendar year, and music information professionals within their first five years of employment, who must be resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland during the year of entry. Publication within the previous five years or prior receipt of the prize does not preclude entry; entries must be submitted by the published closing date, preferably in electronic form.
