About this program
The American Society of Echocardiography awards the biennial Excellence in Teaching in Pediatrics Award to a sonographer or physician member who demonstrates exceptional commitment and skill in teaching pediatric echocardiography. Established in 2005 and presented at ASE’s Annual Scientific Sessions (rotated with the Founders’ Award), the prize recognizes mentors who serve as role models and who foster clinical excellence and research in their trainees. Nominees must be ASE members and Fellows of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE); there is no age limit.
