Faculty-Undergraduate Collaborative Research Projects

About this program

The Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS) offers up to two annual grants of $1,000 each for collaborative research projects involving a faculty member and an undergraduate student in any area of Classics. Funds may support student expenses such as books, supplies, and travel, but not honoraria; applications are due December 6 each year. The faculty applicant must be a current CAMWS member, while the student must be enrolled as an undergraduate and need not be a CAMWS member. Applications must describe the project, timeline, responsibilities, intellectual contributions, budget, institutional support, and anticipated final product, with a joint final report due no later than one semester after the award.
