Fall Capacity Building Grant

About this program

The Black Hills Area Community Foundation offers the Fall Capacity Building Grant to support projects that enhance organizational effectiveness, sustainability, and efficiency. This grant, with a maximum award of $5,000, funds initiatives such as strategic planning, staff development, and technology improvements. Eligible applicants include IRS 501(c)(3) public charities, schools, government entities, and religious organizations operating within Oglala Lakota, Fall River, Custer, Pennington, Meade, Lawrence, and Butte counties. Projects must focus on capacity building within a one-year timeframe and cannot involve religious, political, or discriminatory activities.
