Feldman Internship Award

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations offers the annual Feldman Internship Award to encourage students and new professionals to pursue careers in family policy research and practice. One recipient receives $250 and a certificate, with preference given to applicants completing a policy-oriented internship lasting at least one academic semester; if no qualified applicant is selected, funds may support student and new professional presenters at the NCFR Annual Conference. Applicants must hold current NCFR and Family Policy Section memberships, meet NCFR’s student or new professional definition, and be enrolled in, accepted to, or have completed within the past 12 months a policy-related internship. Applications require a personal statement, two recommendation letters, and a current résumé or CV, and are due May 22.
