Fellows Grant Award Program

About this program

The American Association for Anatomy’s Fellows Grant Award Program provides short-term supplemental awards of $25,000 to investigators whose peer-reviewed grant proposals were reviewed but not funded within the past 15 months, intended to help address reviewer concerns and strengthen resubmissions to major national or international sponsors. Eligible PIs must be AAA members in good standing for the prior two years and may be early-career or established investigators; AAA Board members, FGAP Award Task Force members, and AAA Fellows are ineligible, while co‑PIs or collaborators need not be AAA members. Applicants submit a brief proposal (site text cites two pages; materials list up to three) outlining how reviewer comments will be addressed, use of funds, rationale and impact on resubmission, timeline and target funding source, plus an NIH-style biosketch (preferred) and a one-page Other Support disclosure; applications are reviewed by the Fellows Circle FGAP and award timing is TBD.
