First Responder Grants (Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation)

About this program

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation offers nationwide grants to first responders and public safety organizations to purchase life‑saving equipment (vehicle extraction tools, AEDs, hoses), support prevention education, provide scholarships and continuing education, and deliver disaster assistance and support for service members. Eligible applicants include fire departments, law enforcement, EMS, municipal and state agencies, public safety organizations, nonprofits, and schools, with specific consideration for rural and volunteer departments—even those located more than 60 miles from a Firehouse Subs restaurant. Applications are accepted continuously via the Foundation’s online portal; suggested grant requests are $15,000–$25,000 (requests over $40,000 will not be accepted) and a maximum of 600 applications are accepted per quarter; direct inquiries to foundation@firehousesubs.com.
