Founders Lectureship Award

About this program

The Heart Rhythm Society offers the annual Founders Lectureship Award to honor a prominent national or international member who has made a significant and unique contribution to cardiac pacing and electrophysiology; the award includes complimentary registration to the current year’s Heart Rhythm meeting, a lectureship, a $2,500 honorarium, $2,500 for travel and housing, and a $250 award plaque (total $5,250). Eligible recipients must be able to deliver a high‑quality lecture of multidisciplinary interest at the HRS annual Heart Rhythm meeting and must grant HRS permission to audio‑ and video‑record the lecture for future enduring products. Selection is made annually by the HRS Heart Rhythm Program Committee in coordination with HRS staff (including Program Committee Chair, Abstract Chair, HRS President, 1st Vice‑President, and CEO); no application deadline is specified.
