Fulbright-Botstiber Visiting Professorship

About this program

The Botstiber Institute for Austrian-American Studies and the Austrian-American Educational Commission/Fulbright Austria offer two annual Fulbright-Botstiber Visiting Professorships—one for an Austrian scholar at a U.S. institution and one for an American scholar at an Austrian institution. Each award provides approximately $20,000 for one academic semester to support lecturing and research that advance understanding of Austria–U.S. relations, with particular interest in history, social sciences, economics, and law. Applicants must collaborate with prospective host faculty, who will integrate the visiting scholar into the host institution’s curriculum, department, and academic activities.
