Funding for Bibliographical Events

About this program

The Bibliographical Society of America (BSA) provides up to $1,000 per event, along with possible administrative support, for public lectures, panels, workshops, receptions, and other virtual, hybrid, or in-person events centered on bibliography and material texts. Funds may support honoraria, accessibility services, translation, venue rental, and other necessary costs; proposals are accepted three times annually. Applicants must be active BSA members and submit a single PDF proposal including event plans, speakers, an itemized budget, alignment with BSA mission and equity values, and accessibility provisions. Proposed events may take place anywhere and should engage new or established audiences in bibliographical research, practice, or pedagogy.
