Funding for work that builds capacity to address risks from transformative AI

About this program

Coefficient Giving funds capacity-building projects that strengthen society’s ability to address risks from transformative AI, including training and mentorship programs, events, professional groups, media, resources, and related initiatives. Support may cover projects in areas such as technical alignment, AI governance, model evaluation, information security, and AI economics, with grants available to individuals or organizations for full- or part-time work. Applicants should propose capacity-building activities rather than primarily direct or object-level research, although projects may combine both components. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until further notice.
