Future Leaders Program

About this program

The Western Region Public Health Training Center invites public health students to apply for the Future Leaders Program, offering a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and collaborate with peers. This program provides a stipend and access to virtual exchanges, a community of practice, and online training, with a focus on rural and underserved communities.

Eligible applicants include undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate, or doctoral students in health professions, with a requirement to complete 180 hours of project work within a year. Students must be enrolled in a school and/or conducting project work in the western region, and U.S. citizenship or permanent residence is necessary.
