About this program

The Russell Sage Foundation’s Future of Work program funds investigator-initiated research on the causes and consequences of changes in job quality for low- and moderately paid workers in the United States. Priority topics include employer practices, labor-market dynamics and public policies—such as minimum wages, offshoring, and job search behavior—with an emphasis on identifying causal mechanisms and policy implications and the interplay of market and non-market forces.
