Future Organic Farmers

About this program

The California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) Foundation offers $5,000 Future Organic Farmer grants to support U.S. college and vocational students preparing for careers in organic agriculture. Funds may cover tuition, educational materials, internships, and other expenses directly related to organic studies or career development, but not organic certification fees. Applicants must be enrolled in a non-graduate U.S. educational program, demonstrate financial need and strong commitment to organic agriculture, and submit a reference letter and final report; aspiring farmers are prioritized. The next application cycle runs March 22–April 23, 2027, and prior grantees may reapply.
