About this program
The Electrochemical Society (ECS) Georgia Section offers the Outstanding Student Achievement Award to recognize exceptional academic and research accomplishments in science or engineering centered on electrochemical and/or solid-state science and technology. The annual award includes a $500 prize and is presented at an ECS Georgia Section meeting. Nominees must be full-time PhD students at a university within the Georgia Section region, enrolled there throughout the nomination and award year, and current ECS members. Faculty members must submit nominations between October 15 and January 15, including a nomination form, CV, recommendation letter, student research summary, and up to two journal papers or preprints, if available.
