GIGA Inc. Scholarship Fund

About this program

The GIGA Inc. Scholarship Fund, administered by the Community Foundation of Central Georgia and established by GIGA Inc., awards at least one undergraduate scholarship annually (typically about $1,000) to students who demonstrate academic potential and commitment to community service; applications are filed through the Foundation’s scholarship portal (deadline listed as February 28). Preference is given to GIGA employees and their dependents, and graduating seniors of Wilkinson County High School are also eligible. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university for an undergraduate degree, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 (last two grading periods), and be full-time students or part-time students employed full-time. GIGA employees (or their dependents) must have three years of employment for eligibility; applicants must submit a short essay outlining educational plans and community service, and high school seniors must provide a counselor or teacher reference letter.
