Giving Days

About this program

The Bush Foundation supports Giving Days that raise awareness and funds for nonprofit organizations in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, including initiatives benefiting Native communities and Native-led organizations. Up to four organizations will receive $200,000 annually from 2025–2028, with at least half dedicated to prizes or incentives, plus an additional $10,000 for outreach and relationship-building capacity. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) public charities or government entities located in and serving the eligible states or the 23 Native nations within the region; applications will next be accepted in 2028.
