About this program
The Glenn Foundation for Medical Research offers the Discovery Award to support pioneering research on the biological mechanisms underlying normal human aging and related physiological decline. Up to two three-year awards will be made in 2026, with each providing $555,000 in annual installments of $185,000. Proposals from any branch of biology are eligible, and the program particularly encourages principal investigators who are new to aging research but whose expertise is relevant to aging biology and age-associated health decline. Applications are administered through the American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR).
