Global Oncology Young Investigator Award

About this program

Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation, offers the one-year, $50,000 Global Oncology Young Investigator Award to support mentored research addressing cancer-related needs in low-resource settings, high-resource settings focused on resource-limited environments, or collaborative global oncology questions. Eligible projects may include clinical, translational, implementation, care delivery, prevention, palliative care, health systems, outcomes, or economics research. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree, be in the final year of training or within the first two years of an eligible appointment, be within 10 years of their terminal degree, maintain or apply for ASCO membership, and commit at least 60% effort to research; eligible sponsoring organizations may be domestic or international institutions, government entities, nonprofits, NGOs, or research organizations. A Letter of Intent is due September 10, 2026, followed by invited full proposals due January 15, 2027.
