About this program
The Renal Pathology Society (RPS) awards the annual Gloria Gallo Research Award to honor contributions to renal pathology, providing US $500 and a certificate to a meritorious mid‑career investigator. The award recognizes significant basic, translational, or clinical research impact on renal pathology. Nominees must be RPS members age 45 or younger by December 31 of the award year, and only regular RPS members may submit nominations. Nominations are solicited by the RPS Nomination & Award Committee Chair (call by Sept 15 at the latest) and must include a letter of support from the nominating member and the candidate’s CV; contact information is available on the RPS website.
