About this program

The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation offers Individual Support Grants to encourage dedicated artists, with recent awards providing $25,000 to 20 recipients. Funding supports individual painters, sculptors, and printmakers and is not intended for exhibitions, projects, organizations, or institutions. Applicants must have worked in a mature phase of their art for at least 20 years and demonstrate current financial need through required disclosures and documentation. Artists who have previously received three or more Individual Support Grants are ineligible; the 2027 application deadline is January 15, 2027.
