About this program

Pelotonia Graduate Scholars Program at The Ohio State University funds two-year research awards for exceptional graduate students to pursue independent, multidisciplinary cancer research, offering a competitive annual stipend (≈$34,000) with tuition and fees covered by OSU’s Graduate School. The program supports applicants from any graduate field—sciences, engineering, business, humanities—who propose cancer-focused projects and has funded work from bioinformatics to prevention and therapeutics. Applicants must be graduate students proposing cancer research; awards are highly competitive and applications are accepted twice yearly (Spring: Jan 15–Feb 15 for an August start; Fall: Jun 15–Jul 15 for a January start) and reviewed by the Pelotonia Scholars Program Committee.
