About this program
The Coleopterists Society offers annual Graduate Student Research Enhancement Awards to support graduate research on beetles, including materials, analytical equipment, fieldwork, laboratory work, and museum-collection travel. Two Program Awards provide $5,000 each, while two Improvement Awards provide up to $2,000 each; applicant salary is not eligible. Applicants must be enrolled in good standing in an M.Sc., Ph.D., or equivalent program at a recognized institution and be current members of The Coleopterists Society. Applications, including a research proposal, budget, advisor statement, and permit acknowledgment, are due March 1 annually.
