Graduate Student Travel Grant

About this program

Animal Behavior Society offers Graduate Student Travel Grants to help graduate students defray travel, housing, and meal costs for attending and presenting at the annual ABS meeting; award amounts vary with available funds and application deadlines align with the meeting’s abstract submission deadline. Eligible applicants are active ABS graduate student members who will present a talk or poster, with priority given to Ph.D. students attending ABS for the first time. Selection is based on the quality of the abstract and CV, and applicants must submit their abstract (title and talk/poster designation), CV, justification of need (including other funding sources), and a statement of prior ABS attendance.
