Grant for research, development, and projects promoting the profession of surveying

Indiana Professional Land Surveyors Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, offers grants to support research, development, and projects that promote the surveying profession or improve how the surveying community serves its customers. Awards may go to individuals, businesses, or institutions; funding amounts are not specified and will be determined from available designated funds based on perceived benefit, with applicants required to state the amount requested. Applicants must submit a written request that describes the project purpose, specifies the monetary amount and a funding timetable (including whether payments can be made in multiple installments or years), identifies other funding sources and their interaction with IPLSF funds, justifies project costs relative to community value, and provides supporting comments. Grants are evaluated on the written request, perceived benefit to the profession, and available funds; because the foundation’s fiscal year runs July 1–June 30, filing by April 1 is recommended for priority consideration.
