Greenwall Faculty Scholars Program in Bioethics

About this program

Greenwall Foundation’s Faculty Scholars Program in Bioethics is a career-development award that selects approximately three early-career faculty each year for 50% salary support over three years to conduct innovative bioethics research that informs clinical, biomedical, and public health decision-making, policy, and practice. Applicants must be early-career faculty at a U.S. tax‑exempt university or non‑profit research institute (or an institution with U.S. tax‑exempt status), holding a faculty or long‑term research appointment that allows at least 50% effort for research; priority is given to those who have not yet been considered for tenure. Only one applicant per institution may be submitted each cycle, and non‑tenure‑track candidates must demonstrate evidence of long‑term institutional commitment. Scholars attend twice‑yearly meetings and receive mentoring and professional development from the Program Committee and alumni network.
