Guest Speaker Fund

About this program

The American Musicological Society (AMS) offers the Guest Speaker Fund to support AMS committees and study groups in inviting speakers from outside the field of musicology to the AMS Annual Meeting, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. Grants of up to $1,500 are available to cover travel expenses and honorarium for each invited guest. Eligibility is restricted to AMS Committees and Study Groups; individual members are not eligible to apply. Applications must include a session narrative, budget, and the proposed guest’s CV, with a deadline of January 15, 2025.
