About this program

Smith Richardson Foundation’s International Security and Foreign Policy Program and Domestic Public Policy Program fund research and writing on public policy topics aligned with each program’s stated priority areas. Applicants begin by submitting a concept paper (maximum six pages) using the Foundation’s template; promising concepts are invited to submit a full proposal that follows the provided full proposal and one- or two-year budget templates. Projects must clearly align with the program priorities outlined on the respective program home pages and conform to the Foundation’s review guidelines. Initial concept papers and inquiries should be mailed to Smith Richardson Foundation, 60 Jesup Road, Westport, CT 06880, directed to the program to which you are applying.
