About this program
The Academy of American Poets offers the annual Harold Morton Landon Translation Award, a $1,000 prize recognizing a poetry collection translated into English from any language and published during the previous calendar year. A noted translator selects the winning book; Cynthia Hogue will judge the 2026 award. Submissions for the 2026 award will be accepted from October 15, 2026, through February 15, 2027, and must concern an eligible recently published poetry translation.
