About this program
The Modern Greek Studies Association offers the biennial Harry J. Psomiades Research Grant to support research projects in Greek American Studies, providing up to $2,000 for eligible direct expenses. Awardees whose abstracts are accepted for presentation at the subsequent MGSA Symposium may receive an additional $500 travel grant. Applicants must be MGSA members and may include faculty, graduate students in the final stages of dissertation research, early-career researchers, librarians, and education professionals; individuals may receive the grant only once in a six-year period. Applications require a single PDF containing a cover sheet, CV, two-page project narrative, budget, and bibliography, and funded projects must be completed within one year with a final report submitted two months afterward.
