The Harvey M. Pollicove Memorial Scholarship, endowed in honor of Harvey Pollicove (co‑founder of the Center for Optics Manufacturing), awards US$4,000 to a student pursuing studies or research in precision optics manufacturing; applications are open 1 September–9 October 2026. Eligible applicants must be enrolled at a U.S. university in a precision optics program, intend to work in the optics manufacturing industry after graduation, and agree to submit a scholarship report if selected. Application materials include a one‑page letter describing your passion for designing, fabricating and assembling optical components, how the award will advance your research/academic career and your post‑graduation plans, plus a CV, GPA certification (unofficial transcript), and one reference letter.
