Hawaii AHEC Scholars Program

About this program

The Hawaii AHEC Scholars Program, sponsored by the Hawaii and Pacific Basin Area Health Education Centers, offers a unique multidisciplinary certificate program for health professions students. This program provides an opportunity to gain practical experience, engage with rural communities, and build a network.

Eligible applicants must be health professions students, enrolled in a relevant degree or certificate program, and within two years of completion. The program covers a range of core topics and requires a 2-year commitment, including 80 hours of instruction and 80 hours of clinical training.
