About this program

Rush University Medical Center offers a one-year UCNS‑accredited Headache Medicine Fellowship providing specialized clinical training in the diagnosis and management of primary and secondary headache disorders, with emphasis on migraine and multidisciplinary outpatient and inpatient care. The program partners with the Diamond Headache Clinic, includes elective rotations in sleep medicine, pain clinic, and physical medicine & rehabilitation, and graduating fellows are eligible to sit for UCNS Headache Medicine Certification. Applicants must be physicians who completed an ACGME residency (the program does not accept graduates of non‑ACGME residency programs); the fellowship accepts J‑1 visas and also considers applicants who did not complete a neurology residency.
