Heart Failure Prevention Award - PCNA

The Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (PCNA) offers the Heart Failure Prevention Award to a registered or advanced practice nurse who has implemented an innovative, successful model of primary or secondary preventive care for patients with heart failure; the winner is recognized at the PCNA Annual Cardiovascular Nursing Symposium and receives a plaque, complimentary symposium registration, reimbursement for air/auto travel, and a three-night hotel stay. Applicants must be current PCNA members (self-nomination or nomination by others allowed), present the submitted best-practice model or research as an abstract (poster or oral) at the symposium, and attend in person to accept the award. Applications require a completed nomination form, current curriculum vitae, and two letters of support from health professionals; submissions open July 1 and must be received by PCNA on or before December 6.
