About this program
The Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (PCNA) offers the Heart Failure Prevention Award to recognize a registered or advanced practice nurse who has developed an innovative, successful primary or secondary heart-failure prevention model. The award includes recognition at the PCNA Annual Cardiovascular Nursing Symposium, complimentary registration, and reimbursement for travel and three nights of lodging. Applicants must be current PCNA members, submit a best-practice model or research abstract for symposium presentation, and provide a nomination form, CV, and two professional support letters. Nominations open July 1 and must be received by December 6; recipients must attend the symposium in person and contribute a 500-word PCNA communications article.
