Hemingway Award

About this program

Jointly offered by the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), the biennial Hemingway Award recognises outstanding delivery or facilitation of translational science and carries a £5,000 cash prize. Nominations are invited from RSTMH members and Fellows and from LSTM students, alumni or staff; nominees may be researchers, scientists or professionals at any career stage and from anywhere in the world. Submitted nominations must demonstrate success in carrying out translational research, translating pure research undertaken by others, or securing funding for translational studies or programmes.
