Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship

About this program

The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship offers recent college and graduate alumni full‑time, six‑to‑nine month fellowships in Washington, DC placing fellows with nonprofit public‑interest organizations to work on peace and security research, writing, and organizing. Fellows choose from 26 participating host organizations that provide office space, supervision, and mentorship; fellows may perform a variety of tasks supporting host goals but may not engage in Congressional lobbying. Applicants must be recent graduates and are especially encouraged to apply if they have a strong interest in peace and security and prior public‑interest activism or advocacy experience.
