HLA/Telstra Health Digital Health Innovation Award

About this program

Funded by Telstra Health and administered by Health Libraries Australia (ALIA), the HLA/Telstra Health Digital Health Innovation Award provides $3,000 to libraries to implement or further-develop technology solutions that improve access to health information and health care, or to support the project team’s professional development. Submissions must be either a proposed innovation (implementation funds) or an achieved innovation (further development or PD) and are judged on contribution to the health library profession, project excellence, collaboration, originality, best practice, and implementation/evaluation; the award is presented annually and funds must be expended within 12 months, with winners required to report outcomes in JoHILA. Applicants must hold ALIA personal membership (with a limited allowance for one team member to be covered by an institutional membership in all‑professional teams); non‑professional nominees must work in a library with ALIA institutional membership, and current HLA executive members, Award Administrators and Telstra Health employees are ineligible to apply.
