About this program
ASHRAE offers the Homer Addams Award, which provides $5,000 and a certificate to recognize a graduate student’s contributions to an ASHRAE-sponsored research project. Eligible candidates must be current or former graduate students who received ASHRAE support within the past two Society years and coauthored a qualifying paper published in ASHRAE Transactions or Science and Technology for the Built Environment during that period. Nominations, including an advisor’s letter assessing the student’s role, research quality, performance, and future potential, are due by December 15.
