The Society of Toxicology’s Hispanic Organization of Toxicologists Special Interest Group (HOT-SIG) presents the annual HOT Distinguished Toxicologist Award to recognize a toxicologist of Hispanic/Latino origin whose scientific, regulatory, leadership, mentoring, community-service, or public-health contributions have advanced toxicology; the award consists of a recognition plaque rather than research funding.
