House Officer Research Awards

About this program

The Society for Pediatric Research (SPR) offers the annual House Officer Research Award to recognize outstanding research by early-career physicians and encourage careers in academic pediatrics. One to three recipients are selected based on the quality of abstracts submitted to the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Meeting and must present their research at the meeting. Applicants must be house officers or residents who will submit and present the work before completing residency, serve as first author on an abstract accepted for PAS presentation, and submit the online application, abstract, supplemental materials, and description of their contribution by the abstract deadline.
