About this program
The Hemostasis & Thrombosis Research Society (HTRS) offers Mentored Research Awards of $165,000 over two years to support fellows and junior faculty conducting clinical, translational, or basic research in hemostasis or thrombosis under experienced mentorship. The program is intended to advance recipients toward NIH career development funding. Applicants must hold an eligible medical or scientific doctoral degree, be employed with their mentor(s) at non-commercial academic institutions, and maintain active HTRS Trainee- or Core-level membership. Letters of intent are due August 31, 2026; invited full proposals are due December 14, 2026.
