ICMA Nominations for the Whiting Foundation 2024–25 Public Engagement Grants

The International Center of Medieval Art (ICMA) is soliciting nominations for the Whiting Foundation's 2024–25 Public Engagement Grants (for funding in 2025–26), which support early‑career humanities faculty in public‑facing scholarship through a $50,000 Fellowship for well‑developed projects or Seed Grants up to $10,000 for earlier pilot or planning work. ICMA may nominate one or two proposals from full‑time faculty at accredited U.S. institutions who are tenure‑track, tenured within the last five years, or full‑time adjuncts at a comparable early‑career status; collaborations with graduate students are welcome. To be considered for ICMA nomination, submit a CV, a two‑page project summary, and a working budget to Ryan Frisinger by the ICMA deadline (dates TBD); nominees will receive feedback and be notified by May 1, and must follow the Whiting Foundation’s full proposal guidelines available online.
