ICS Lifetime Achievement Award

About this program

The International Continence Society (ICS) presents the ICS Lifetime Achievement Award to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Society and demonstrated a lifetime commitment to advancing science, education, clinical practice or public awareness in the field of continence (urinary tract, bowel and pelvic floor); the award is conferred by acclamation at the ICS Annual Meeting. The award comprises an inscribed plaque or trophy, lifetime honorary ICS membership, and an invitation to the subsequent annual meeting with free registration, travel and accommodation (per ICS travel policy), plus invitations to associated receptions and dinners. Nominations are accepted annually and must be submitted by a valid ICS member (one nomination per member) by 6 January; required materials are a statement (maximum 200 words) summarising the candidate’s accomplishments and the candidate’s CV in English including a publications list (maximum 2 pages or 4 sides; full list may be appended). Nominations are reviewed by the ICS Board of Trustees, which may elect not to issue an award in any given year.
