About this program
The Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland (BSBI) offers a limited number of Identiplant Grants to partially cover the fee for its Identiplant training course, providing £250 (or the euro equivalent for Republic of Ireland applicants). Grants target aspiring botanists, including recent graduates and amateur botanical recorders, and applicants must apply for the Identiplant course and the grant simultaneously. Applications open each year on 1 December and close on 31 December (the course application deadline); BSBI membership is not required but is favoured, and only a limited number of awards are available.
