About this program
The IEEE Photonics Society offers annual graduate student scholarships of up to $10,000 to outstanding student members pursuing graduate education in photonics-related fields. Applicants must be active IEEE Photonics Society student members and are normally expected to be in the penultimate year of study, with evaluation based on academic and research records, references, accomplishments, and potential. Applications are due May 30 and must include a CV, transcripts, a 300-word research statement, publication contributions, IEEE membership information, and two references.
