IEEE Photonics Society Industry Achievement Award

About this program

The IEEE Photonics Society Industry Achievement Award recognizes an individual or group of up to four for significant contributions to the photonics industry through sustained entrepreneurship or leadership in commercially introducing photonics systems, devices, applications, or markets. The award includes a certificate and cash honorarium and considers lasting innovation impact, global adoption, recognition, and establishment of new directions in photonics. Nominations are open April 15–May 31, and IEEE or Society membership is not required, although nominators must have an IEEE Web Account. Submissions must include a 30-word citation, supporting and contribution statements, an impact statement of up to three pages, a three-page curriculum vitae, and three one-page endorsement letters.
