Improving Patient Access to Cancer Testing (IMPACT) Grant

The Illumina Corporate Foundation’s IMPACT Funding Opportunity provides up to eight grants totaling $100,000, with individual awards generally ranging from $10,000 to $30,000, to support U.S. oncology patient advocacy organizations. Funding will advance education, patient navigation, and community-driven initiatives that improve awareness of genomics, reduce barriers to cancer testing, and empower patients and families. Applicants must be independent U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits vetted through Benevity, and projects must remain independent of Illumina’s commercial activities without promoting specific products or tests. Applications for the 2026 cohort are due March 13, 2026, and awardees must complete progress and final reports, participate in cohort calls, and present project outcomes.
